The tradition in Denmark for graduating students is the truck ride. Wearing a white sailor-like cap, the high school graduates
will ride in decorated trucks around Copenhagen to celebrate their graduation :->

Pix'll be uploaded later :P

A rainy Monday

It's another rainy day here...

Nafisa had to spend most of the day indoors :-S
It's hard enough to find activities to occupy her on a normal day,
but today, she was harder to please ...and very clingy indeed too.
Poor girl misses her Ayah :hopeless: :hopeless: :hopeless:

But the afternoon brightened up with a visit from my niece.

She would be returning to Dublin tomorrow morning and stopping over to say her goodbyes...
It was a lovely lunch and a welcome distraction for Nafisa who had taken a liking to Atam :-D

May we never let the things we can't have, or don't have, or shouldn't have, spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness let us not forget it, for one of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have.

To Ayah dearest

Nusaiybah wrote a poem for Ayah...

                                            Happy Fathers’ Day!

                                        Fathers’ Day is more than

                                             just a happy day.

More than a day made up to

                                         appreciate your fathers.

                                                   It means

                                   I love you,

                                first of all,

                                           Then thank you for

                                              all you’ve done.

                               Fathers’ Day is the day

where we celebrate having our father

who have done so much for the family.

                                         Happy Father’s Day!

Though you're thousands of miles away, we don't want this special day to pass by unnoticed...

HAPPYDADDY'SDAY

We miss you lotz....

Dearest Ayah,

Everyday might be a special day,
But when it comes to YOUR day,
It’s extra special.

So here comes another day,
But it’s not just another day
It’s Father’s Day!

Here comes all of us,
Walking up to you
Trying to say,
"Have a happy Father’s Day!”

Love,
Sabrina

karaoke night

If Friday 13th spells unluckiness to some, this is not the case for the MYP 4 students.

After an invigorating and fun day at the stadium, these senior students rushed back to prepare themselves for the big event tonight.

Instead of the usual prom, the room parents had organised something different different for them; the MYP 4 had their karaoke night.

Our awesomely talented Muhammad was voted best vocalist :ty_ty:

Well, I haven't uploaded all the pix yet....am busy decluttering the apartment
before our summer break but here are a few pictures of last night.
