Tamagoyaki

More about my Japanese cooking class 
Tamagoyaki is the Japanese omelette.
It has an overall sweet taste...something like the taste of the eggs for your french toast I guess.
Since we didn't have the square pan that's normally used to make Tamagoyaki, we have to improvise with the normal round, non-stick pan. But with Sensei Sharizad leading the class, it was all systems go

Nafisa' play date with Suffiya

The two girls have eagerly been waiting to see each other.
It seems that both girls had told their dads that the other is her best friends...aaaawh, how sweet!
Despite the cold weather, my little Nafisa was all excited to go out for her play date...

"He's coming.... tonight."
I had about 5 hours before my dinner guest's arrival. Thankfully, the rain had stopped and Nafisa obliged me to go to the supermarket to prepare for Ayah's friend tonight.
Actually, we haven't met him before... but he got Ayah's contacts through his Singaporean friends and also from some Danes he met at the mosque last Friday.
I was very happy when he accepted our invite to dinner just now...and hope to see more of him in the near future 
After consultation, the dinner menu was cut down to these

....parks, milkshakes & fries

When her sister asked what she had done during her Sunday walk, the three year-old aptly replied,"...errr, parks, milkshakes & fries..."
In a nutshell, those were the highlights for her
Her other favourites, fries & milkshakes.
The first stop after the walk in the park was a pit stop to quench the thirst...redberries with banana milkshake! The second stop was our lunch after the walk along Copenhagen's shopping street, Stroget - Nafisa enjoyed her fries here
